I bought my first Mac yesterday—a spiffy, black MacBook. I've spent the first 24 hours with my new computer setting up various means of running Windows on it (Remote Desktop, Boot Camp, and Parallels). In the Mac world, I'm pretty sure that makes me very lame.
Not really, there are a lot of Mac users running Windows under various Virtual Machines, getting the best of both worlds.
I can recommend you check out http://osx.iusethis.com/ for some software lists.
Most Mac users have done his, but not as soon as they get a Mac for the first time. Your lame!
Agreed. I’ve had mine for a week today and I’ve not spent any time even looking at how to run Windows on it… You’re just scared!
I waited a six weeks before even considering allowing windows an home on my mac.
I want to get a Mac ASAP though it’s not likely before January 2008. However without an Mac equivalent of Excel, I’ll reluctantly have to get MS Office installed early on. But at least I know how to use Office.
